Delete Your Tabu Account
You can permanently delete your Tabu account and request deletion of the personal data associated with it.
If you still have access to the Tabu app, the quickest way to delete your account is directly from your account settings.
Delete your account in the Tabu app
Open Tabu and go to:
Settings → Delete account
Follow the instructions shown in the app to confirm your request.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
What happens after you confirm
Your account is scheduled for deletion, with a 14-day grace period before the request is processed. During that time you can cancel it from the same screen in the app. After that window the request can no longer be cancelled.

What will be deleted?
Deleting your Tabu account will remove or permanently disassociate personal information associated with your account, subject to any information that Tabu is required or permitted to retain.
This may include:
- your Tabu profile and account information;
- saved account preferences;
- personal information associated with your account;
- content you have submitted to The Scene;
- information associated with your use of Tabu, where it is not required to be retained.
Before deleting your account
If you have an upcoming reservation, table booking, event ticket, pending refund, payment dispute, or other unresolved transaction, we recommend resolving it before deleting your account.
Certain transaction or booking records may need to be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes.
Data retention
Deleting your Tabu account does not necessarily mean that every record connected with your previous use of Tabu can be immediately erased. Booking and payment records are kept where the law requires it.
We may retain certain information where required or permitted by applicable law, including for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or legal-compliance purposes.
Where information must be retained, access to it will be limited and it will no longer be used for ordinary account purposes.
For more information about how Tabu collects, uses, retains and deletes personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
